Philip Livingston has extensive experience as an operating executive and board member.

 

In 2019 Phil and a group of investors acquired Precision Camera and Video.  The company is one of the leading camera dealers in the US.  Founded in 1976 today it is the largest camera store in Texas.  500 customers a day flow into the store - all with a passion for imagery and eager to deal with our friendly expert staff.   See PrecisionCameraATX.com.

 

Phil has served as a director of public and private companies including The Tile Shop, Rand Worldwide, Cott Corporation, Broadsoft Corporation, Catalina Marketing Corporation, SITO Mobile, Seitel, Inc., Nexsan Technologies, MSC Software, and World Wrestling Entertainment.  He has served on the boards of leading non-profits including the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and The Guardsmen of San Francisco.

 

He was CEO of Ambassadors Group where he ran the popular student travel business, People To People Ambassador Programs. In 2015 the company traveled over 14,000 students and teachers to all seven continents.

 

From 2009 to 2013 he was CEO of LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, where he led the division that provided online marketing services, website construction and optimization, as well as ratings and lead generation services for the legal industry.  The division included Lawyers.com, the leading on-line destination for consumers in search of legal help or referral to an attorney.  Lawyers.com served more than three million visitors a month

 

Livingston was President of Financial Executives International (FEI) from 1999 to 2003. FEI is the preeminent association for senior financial executives, acting as an advocate on behalf of its membership before regulators and legislators.  In this role, he had significant participation in formulation and passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, giving formal testimony to the House Financial Services Committee and directly authoring Section 406 (ethical codes of conduct for corporate financial officers) and Section 407 (audit committee financial experts).  He also attended the White House bill-signing ceremony.

 

From 2003 to 2005 he was Chief Financial Officer of World Wrestling Entertainment.  Prior to joining FEI, Livingston served as CFO of Catalina Marketing Corporation, a supplier of electronically-targeted marketing services for the consumer packaged goods industry.

 

From 1993 to 1995 Livingston was CFO of Celestial Seasonings, where he successfully managed the company’s initial public offering in 1993.

 

His early career included positions in financial management and auditing with Genentech, Inc. and Ernst & Young, where he earned his CPA. He received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and both a BS and a BA from the University of Maryland.

 

Prior to entering the business world, Livingston played offensive tackle as a member of the 1981 Super Bowl Champion Oakland Raiders.  He is a past member of The Economic Club of New York.   Livingston was also named an Outstanding Alumnus of ODK, the national college leadership society.

 

He enjoys photography, golf and is an unashamed balletomane.  He is a huge fan and supporter of the NYC Ballet.  He has three children that make him proud every day.
